In preparation for the upcoming Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQ) event, which will take place from 23rd to 29th June 2025 at the Darussa’adah Centre Complex, Teupin Raya, Pidie Regency, the committee officially organised a Technical Guidance (Bimtek) session for prospective judges. The event was held on Saturday (3rd May) at the Darussa’adah Education Foundation Lipah Rayeuk branch, Bireuen Regency.
The Bimtek session was officially opened by the Chair of the 57th Anniversary Committee, Tgk. Haji Musri M. Ali, S.Pd.I. In his remarks, he emphasised that the MTQ is not merely a competition, but a platform for preaching and character-building for the younger generation.
“This MTQ is not just a competition; it is also a means of dawah and moral development for the younger generation. Therefore, the judges are expected to work with honesty, fairness, and a full sense of responsibility,” he stated.
During the session, the committee outlined several key requirements for the prospective judges, including:
Must reside within the Darussa’adah Centre complex for the duration of the event
Must be an alumnus and/or an official leader of the Darussa’adah Education Foundation
The use of mobile phones is prohibited, except for official purposes related to the anniversary event
Must provide a recommendation letter from the leadership of the respective dayah (Islamic school)
The Bimtek session was also attended by the leadership from Yayasan Darussa’adah’s regions I, II, and III, along with representatives from the Darussa’adah Lipah Rayeuk Educational Foundation, who provided guidance and full support to ensure the success of the 57th Anniversary event.
Also present was Arizal Mahdi, the Chairman of Relawan Peduli Rakyat Lintas Batas, who is an alumnus of Darussa’adah and has been appointed as one of the judges for the English Language category. In his statement, he expressed his appreciation for the trust placed in him and reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining the integrity and objectivity of the judging process.
“It is an honour to be entrusted with this responsibility. I will ensure the judging process is conducted impartially and objectively, in line with the values of our organisation and the teachings of the Qur’an,” said Arizal Mahdi.
This Bimtek session forms an essential part of the technical preparation for the MTQ, ensuring that the event will run smoothly, with dignity, and in accordance with the noble values of Islam. The Darussa’adah Education Foundation, together with its branches and partner institutions across Aceh, continues to affirm its position as a leading Islamic educational institution, excelling not only in teaching traditional Islamic texts and the Qur’an but also in nurturing a generation of young people who are knowledgeable, virtuous, and of noble character.
