Personel Polsek Banda Sakti menciduk dua tersangka pemakai Narkotika jenis sabu-sabu di kawasan Lorong V, Desa Mon Geudong, Kecamatan Banda Sakti, Kota Lhokseumawe, Rabu (6/12/2023) sekira pukul 17.00 WIB.
Kapolres Lhokseumawe, AKBP Henki Ismanto melalui Kapolsek Banda Sakti, Ipda Arizal mengatakan, kedua tersangka itu yakni HE (35) warga Kota Lhokseumawe dan NU (33) warga Kabupaten Aceh Utara. “Kedua tersangka ditangkap saat duduk di pinggir jalan,” ujarnya.
Kronologisnya, lanjut kapolsek, personel mendapatkan informasi dari masyarakat bahwa di kawasan itu kerap dijadikan sebagai tempat penyalahgunaan Narkotika. Kemudian, polisi melakukan penyelidikan dan setiba di TKP personel menghampiri kedua pria yang mencurigakan sedang duduk di pinggir jalan.
“Ketika dilakukan pemeriksaan di sekitar tempat duduk kedua pria ini, ditemukan barang bukti Narkotika jenis sabu yang disimpan di dalam sebuah plastik bening klip merah yang berisikan satu plastik bening klip merah kosong dan 8 buah paket kecil sabu, barang tersebut disembunyikan di bawah kursi kayu tempat kedua tersangka duduk,” pungkasnya.
Kepada petugas, kata Ipda Arizal, tersangka HE mengakui bahwa sabu tersebut merupakan miliknya, tersangka juga mengaku baru saja mengkonsumsi sabu-sabu bersama rekannya, NU di pinggir jalan. Selanjutnya, kedua tersangka beserta barang bukti diboyong ke Mapolsek Banda Sakti untuk pemeriksaan lebih lanjut.
“Kedua tersangka akan dijerat Pasal 112 Jo Pasal 114 Jo pasal 131 Jo Pasal 132 Undang-undang No. 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika, ancaman hukuman maksimal 12 tahun penjara,” jelasnya.
