Guna mewujudkan Pemilu damai 2024, aman, dan kondusif, Polsek Bilah Hilir Polres Labuhanbatu menggelar Focus Group Discussion (FGD), yang dilaksanakan di Balai Kelurahan Negerilama, Kecamatan Bilah Hilir, Kabupaten Labuhanbatu, Rabu (13/12).
Kapolres Labuhanbatu AKBP James Hutajulu, melalui Kasi Humas Iptu Parlando Napitupulu, kepada wartawan menyampaikan, acara ini dilaksanakan dengan menggandeng penyelenggara pemilu seperti Panitia Pemungutan Suara (PPS), Panwaslu, Forkopimca Bilah Hilir dan organisasi kepemudaan.
Sementara itu, Kapolsek Bilah Hilir Iptu Sahat M Lumbangaol, saat dikonfirmasi mengatakan, kegiatan FGD kali ini mengusung tema: Mewujudkan Pemilu Damai dan Sejuk, Tanpa Ada Berita Hoaks dan Ujaran Kebencian di wilayah hukum Polsek Bilah Hilir.
“Yang tujuannya untuk menciptakan Pemilu Damai 2024, dengan saling berkoordinasi dengan instansi terkait baik itu TNI, Pemerintahan, penyelenggara pemilu, ormas, tokoh agama dan tokoh masyarakat yang ada di Kecamatan Bilah Hilir,” ungkap Iptu Sahat.
Adapun kegiatan FGD tersebut dihadiri oleh Camat Bilah Hilir Ridwan Syahputra Harahap, Kapolsek Bilah Hilir Iptu Sahat M Lumbangaol, Danramil 09/NL diwakili Peltu M Hakim, Plt KUA Negerilama Suhrianto Batubara, dan Ketua MUI Bilah Hilir Irwansyah.
